Everything revolves around what you find most comfortable.

The place of your choosing needs to be clean and tidy, and with minimal distractions. Wherever you feel you feel your body can be comfortably supported and at ease: couch, recliner, bed, chair, hammock, … If it has a cover or bedding, these need to be clean as well. Outdoors might be challenging sometimes because of mosquitoes and other elements.

Think about who’d you’d like to have as your third person. Their presence helps amplify your “calling”1 and stabilize the energy. They are someone with whom you can be totally yourself. They are free to do anything they want to do as long as they feel they are actively being part of the session and not distracting you. Meditating, drawing, and / or doing “energy work” are some of the things people like to do.

Reflect on things that you feel very spiritually connected to that you’d like to bring to the session. This helps tune you into a “spiritual zone.” It can be anything: a spiritual book, a crystal, a picture, an herb, anything at all. You may also bring more than one thing. If there is a song that spiritually moves you, we can play that in the beginning before the guided meditation.

In the past, the subconscious suggested three lit candles was helpful for a particular client. As another example, this is the setup the people that channeled the Law of One used (1, 2): an open bible, a "chalice" of water, incense in a censer and a white candle lit during the session. There's a more detailed explanation in  the second link. What is most important is that items you'd like to use during the session are ones that resonate with you spiritually.

Reflect on a list of questions or topics you'd like more clarity on or you may also choose not to do that and simply allow the subconscious during the session to present to you what is in alignment with your highest wellbeing at that moment.

Be mindful of what you eat or drink the days leading to the session. Also, think about what snack you’d like to have after the session. A snack can be helpful to orient you back to the present moment.

On day of the session:

-Minimize what you drink one hour prior to the session.

-Wear comfortable clothes.

-Have a light blanket handy. Sometimes as you go deeper into the subconscious you may experience changes in temperature and removing the light blanket or placing one on helps you stay at a comfortable temperature.

-Have a glass or bottle of water handy.

-If you have to, notify people that you’ll be doing a session and will be unavailable during that period of time. Sometimes it might help placing a “Therapy in session” kind of sign outside the door.

-Place your phone on silent before the session begins.
