Any time is a great time, though the best time is when you can dip deeper into a theta brainwave state such as right after waking up, after a nap or a good meditation.
I asked Karen Dahlman and she suggested to begin by writing on my notebook "I open this space to the Wisdom of my Higher Self and Guides of Pure Light." three times and then just writing nonstop without analyzing or "editing" what I wrote. I try to keep a relaxed pace and usually write for 6 pages on my notebook. Doing my best to do this on a daily basis.
