I was having oats and bread with peanut butter and honey every morning and would just get so tired at around noon. I also had trouble digesting. I had to figure out why...
Bread has a protein called Gliadin that attaches to the thyroid gland and makes you very tired. The tiredness from eating bread peaks the first couple hours and has a lingering effect for 6 months.
I LOVE bread! and cookies and all sorts of flour stuff!! But finally giving it a rest. I switched over to gluten-free alternatives and I've been fine ever since! I'm a morning person now. Have you ever tried Daiya vegan pizza!? OMG! I'm not vegan but this is seriously the best, most "cheesiest" vegan gluten-free pizza I've ever had. My favorite now. It's usually in the frozen section.

Some people believe non-gmo flour is okay since it apparently has the less harmful of version of Gliadin. Buying hotdog buns? Make sure they're made with non-gmo flour. :) More information on minute 20 in this video: https://www.gaia.com/video/53-prophecies-ascension
